Housekeeping (Heartkeeping)
Doesn’t it feel good when you’ve tidied up the house a bit and feel a little more organized at home? Paths of Heart is approaching its 6th full year of existence and as we vision into 2020, we’d like to reflect on how we’ve changed and grown, and get your ideas on how we’ll move into the future. What draws you to our Sunday morning gatherings? What feels comfortable, and what might you like to experience differently? What ideas do you have to help us maintain a sustainable future? We welcome all your supportive thoughts and hope you’ll join us in doing a little “cleaning and upkeep” as we build our community together! If you can’t be with us this Sunday, feel free to email us your thoughts. Thank you!
Quotes to ponder
“When I was cleaning out my garage it reminded me of spiritual housekeeping. As I cleaned I came upon things to sort out, things to let go of, things to keep, and things that I wondered how I ever collected them.” ~ Mary Morrissey
“What’s lurking in the cupboard of our mind and soul? What junk drawer in the back of our heart is swarmed with knick-knacks and old paperwork? Where did we put our keys to future success?…” ~ Amanda Rodriguez
Looking Ahead/Notes of Interest
November 1st ~ We are gearing up for the YOU MATTER Marathon, a month-long event taking place Nov. 1st to the 30th each year. YMM is a global initiative that creates positive connections between individuals and within communities. Unlike traditional marathons, there is no running required! This is a movement of kindness to let people know that they matter. Participants simply share a pre-printed business card stating, “You Matter”, however and with whomever they are moved to do so! Paths of Heart is a sponsor this year and we’ve got lots of cards to share with all who wish to participate! For more information, visit https://youmattermarathon.com/
Sunday, November 3rd ~ Día de los Muertos Celebration. We will have our ofrenda set up and all are welcome to bring mementos of their passed loved ones to honor and celebrate.

Gratitudes
How wonderful it was to have June Miller with us last Sunday. Even though she suggested it might be her “last talk”, we sure hope we can coax her back for more! Thank you, June!
“You simply will not be the same person two months from now after consciously giving thanks each day for the abundance that exists in your life. And you will have set in motion an ancient spiritual law: the more you have and are grateful for, the more will be given you.” ~ Sarah Ban Breathnach

Car-eography
You
may park in the driveway, as well as diagonally along the north side of
our property. Should those areas become full, please park out on Hwy
1, which has plenty of space and a nice wide shoulder. Do watch for
passing cars as you are exiting and entering your vehicle, though! The
carport area is reserved for folks with special parking needs. Out of
respect for our neighbors, we ask that you kindly refrain from parking
on Evans Drive beyond our property line. Car pooling is encouraged. We
also have a bike rack for cyclists!
About Paths of Heart…

gather together in music, poetry, commentary, and dialogue to create and
nurture joy, compassion, gratitude, and love – in our own lives and
throughout the world. Paths of Heart is a 501(c)(3) Human
Services/Educational non-profit organization that uses the arts,
especially, to encourage and propel seekers of a better, more peaceful
world to find ways to serve, while becoming more kind and compassionate
human beings.
We welcome you as we collectively and individually explore the sweet
mysteries of life – this is an invitation into co-creation! Our
gatherings are most every Sunday at 10:30 a.m. at 117 Evans
Drive in north Fort Collins. Childcare is available (please let us know
ahead of time so we can make arrangements).
We hope our paths cross soon!
